To mark 90 years of the club, ŠD Pomgrad Murska Sobota invites chess players to an anniversary open blitz tournament at Terme Vivat, Moravske Toplice.

90 years, one passion

The chess club founded in Murska Sobota in 1936 has carried on its tradition without interruption ever since. To mark this milestone, ŠD Pomgrad is hosting an open blitz tournament bringing together players of all generations and rating levels — from young hopefuls to grandmasters.

The tournament will be submitted for the FIDE blitz rating and played over 11 rounds of the Swiss system, with a time control of 7 minutes + 3 seconds increment per move. All players who register in time and hold a valid FIDE ID are eligible to take part.

Your entry must include: first and last name, club and a valid FIDE ID.

The entry fee is 15 € for adults and 10 € for players under 18; grandmasters (men and women) are exempt. The fee is paid at check-in on the day of the tournament (9:00–9:30).
